Gina Eichmüller received a Master Degree in Conservation and Restoration from the University of Applied Science in Berlin. She is a trained conservator specialized in the conservation and restoration of historic and archaeological artifacts and has worked with numerous museums, national institutions and private collectors. She provides a high museum standard conservation service and her work reflects the importance of preserving the historic, material and artistic values of cultural heritage objects.

 

Gina specializes in preventive conservation. Her main focus is the protection of objects/collections during transportation and storage. Her research in fine art transportation at the Getty Conservation Institute and the University of Applied Science in Berlin has led to her unique expertise in the safe transportation of three-dimensional art objects. In collaboration with vibration technology engineers she developed a transportation risk assessment tool for both individual objects and collections to guarantee the safe transport of fragile art pieces.
