Gina Eichmüller received a Master’s Degree in Conservation and Restoration from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. She is a trained conservator, specialised in the conservation and restoration of historic and archaeological artefacts, and has worked with numerous museums, national institutions, and private collectors. In 2021, she founded Eichmüller Heritage Conservation to provide specialised, science-based conservation services that ensure the safe management and preservation of cultural heritage collections. She provides a high-standard museum conservation service, and her work reflects the importance of preserving the historical, material, and artistic values of cultural heritage objects.

Gina specialises in preventive conservation. Her primary focus is on protecting objects and collections during transportation and storage. Her research in fine art transportation at the Getty Conservation Institute and the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin has led to unique expertise in safely transporting three-dimensional art objects. In collaboration with vibration technology engineers, she developed a Transportation Risk Assessment Tool for individual objects and collections to guarantee the safe transport of fragile artworks.
